SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR HORSES
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Horse-riding is a dangerous sport. While mounted, all competitors and ride judges are required, for their own safety, to wear appropriate head gear that complies with up to date safety standards and is securely fastened.
Commences after Riding Horses
Winner of the class will qualify to compete in the overall Champion Horse of the Show held in the large show ring at the end of the day.
To be judged on appearance, manners, rideability, and movement. An individual show if required by the judges should not exceed 2 minutes and include walk, trot and canter, a simple change at canter, rein back, strike off on required leg, gallop on, halt and stand still. Snaffle or double briddle. Riders should have attained their 16th birthday.
No entries permitted on day of event.
